National Coming Out Day

Anderson Cooper-Please shut up about the word gay being used as a slur when, in fact, you are gay but won't come out of the closet! Staying in the closet is the biggest slur against fellow gays!

Child abuse

The act of bringing a child into this world, knowing that at some point it will feel despair, even if it overcomes everything and becomes happy, it will eventually rot and die. Why are people, certain people, praised for having babies? It is the longest, strangest and most cruel form of premeditated murder that I have ever heard of. Sick.

It gets better

There are some people that claim gay rights supporters are using these recent suicides as a way to get publicity. As far as I can tell people are using these suicides to show the public the despair these young people are in.
There are also people within the lgbtq community that are upset over the "It Gets Better" video campaign, saying that these videos are only going to reach a small segment of the community, privileged children, and that the ads are elitist, or at least pushing some sort of elitism. Let's not forget that these same people are complaining that the ads are ageist, by featuring older people telling their stories.
Sorry, f*ckers-if one suicide is prevented by these ads it's a step in the right direction. I am sorry that everything can't be addressed and fixed all at once.
Ageist? Really? I am not sure if these videos are supposed to feature just young people, but if they did I think they would miss a crucial point-people that are a little older are in a better position to give a longer narrative.
I think that the true ageism comes from people complaining about older people being involved, but that's the way the culture seems to be set up-you get to a certain age and you are supposed to just be silent and wait for death. No thanks.

Separation of church & state

People whine about this so much, most notably when they are crying out something like, "they have taken god out of the schools" or "it's not fair that it's called the holiday season" or "adam and eve not adam and steve". I say DUCKFOG to all of these people! I wish that I could get away from people that go on and on about one belief or another. Christian, catholic, mormon, jehovah witness, buddhist, unitarians-give it a rest!
Your belief in whatever book it is that you believe in is as valid as a belief that Harry Potter holds all the answers-a book is a book. Believe what you will, I wouldn't even think of stopping you, but when your mythological nonsense is holding me back, making it possible, even glorious, to kill others, we have a problem.
I suppose parents are to blame. They start with the lies early on and how in the world are people supposed to be rational when they are force fed stories about big boats full of animals or a fairy that collects your mouth cavity waste?

Glee

After watching tonights episode I could only think of one thing-Duckfog! Why does everyone have to believe in something? Why is not believing good enough for these people? I am sick of people with good intentions. Isn't the road to hell paved with those good intentions?
I would rather watch Bad Girls! At least they aren't ramming jesus down my throat!
